How to Visit

As a precaution against the pandemic caused by the Covid-19 virus, RTP changes the rules of visits, in accordance with the recommendations of the competent authorities, from 1 June 2020, for the period considered convenient.

Rules for visits to the RTP Museum Visitable Collection, according to the legal guidelines in force, from the first day of June, 2020:

  1. Visit subject to availability, on working days, free of charge, by appointment only, via online museum.virtual@rtp.pt , made up to 24 hours in advance (always starting at the following hours:
    10:00 - 11:00 - 12:00 / 14: 00 - 15:00 - 16:00/ Location Rua Conselheiro Emídio Navarro - Lisbon).)
  2. Visit time limit of 40 minutes.
  3. Maximum of five visitors per visit.
  4. Mandatory use of a protection respiratory mask.
    Note: RTP doesn’t provide masks and there will be control at the entrance gate.
  5. Mandatory disinfection of hands at the entrance and exit of the Visitable Museological Collection.
    Note: RTP offers an alcohol-based antiseptic solution through a dispenser located at the entrance to the Museological Visitable Collection.
  6. Mandatory respect of respiratory etiquette rules.
  7. Maintenance of the safety distance, minimum 2 meters, throughout the entire visit.
  8. Cloakroom attendant unavailable.
  9. Information leaflets or other promotional materials, that allow undifferentiated handling, will not be available.
  10. here will be disinfection, at the end of each visit (20-minute interval), of the Museological Visitable Collection space, including desks, computers, computer mouse and keyboards, as well as all other materials used during the visits.
  11. All touch monitors and shared headphones of the multimedia area and temporary exhibition area, will be disable, in accordance with the recommendations of the competent authorities regarding interactive equipment that requires or invites interaction, in order to minimize points of concentration of visitors.
  12. Visits made exclusively on the standard visit model, ensuring the necessary safety conditions for visitors. None of the other models of visits for groups are carried out, such as scheduled visits for leisure time activities at school holidays.
  13. Visitors may be subject to health control at the entrance of RTP facilities.


Note: Regarding access to sanitary facilities, will be fulfilled the general rules defined by RTP, according to the determinations of health authorities.
